That is what I do most times for my handspun, but I LURVE hats!<br /><br />The other thing is start a scarf do it verticals and then keep adding different stripes with your handspun as you progress. That would be funky and fun. Also it would be something that would last longer than say mitts because I have a feeling this is special for you.
