We've come a long way in 100 years. There's still a lot of work left to do, but we should all stop for a second and pat ourselves on the back for a job well done.
Now... back to our regularly scheduled activism. And knitting. Because they are not mutually exclusive.

Definitely not mutually exclusive. No siree bob.
And today we honor Geraldine Ferraro, who led the way for women in politics.
When Ferraro was nominated, I wept with joy. My best friend called me and exclaimed, "It's like going to Israel!" meaning it's like being in a place where you're no longer a minority.
