However... knitting a lace shawl is not exactly the best way to put a huge dent in the stash. I need to cast on something worsted-weight. I'm planning on knitting another Clapotis, this one for me. That should help.

652
Not the best picture, but here it is... the Bridgewater Shawl in blob form. It's actually brown. And it's a square. And I spent a good long time today picking up 652 stitches. Now, I'm ready to start the edging.

Ooh, I am loving the color and the openess of it.
I am getting ready to start a worsted clapotis too!! I am one skein short though, so I have to figure out how to adjust accordingly.
Congrats on picking up 652 stitches. Now the fun part begins!
It's going to be gorgeous! I can't even imagine picking up that many stitches!
I like that - "in blob form" - many of my UFOs are in blob form at the moment...
Sweet mother, 652? Yikes!
Oh my goodness! 652 Stitches, that's a lot of work. It will be worth it in the long run.
Love the color of the yarn.
