It's late, the lighting is crummy, but I wanted to share these pictures. Why? Because I love these socks. They're so bright, they'll burn your eyes if you look at them too long. I may take better pics later (the auto-adjust feature of my cheapo editing software doesn't really do the colors justice). Click on the pictures for the full, big picture impact!
Yes, that's an eye of partridge heel. Because just the circles and stripes weren't enough.
Details:
Pattern: Circles by Anne Campbell (on ravelry)
Yarn: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock
Color: Childplay
Needles: US #0
Mods: I decreased the gusset an extra 2 stitches for a better fit, then didn't have the right number of stitches for a star toe. So what did I do? I just knit my regular toe instead! But that's it. The pattern was very well-written, and these socks were so much fun to knit. No Second Sock Syndrome, not a trace of it.

Pretty, pretty, pretty! Your socks look absolutedly fabulous. Love the yarn and pattern together.
Those are so cool!!!! I love the pattern. I'm getting jaded on sock patterns, few of them really excite me anymore--but that one does!
They look great! So super cheerful :)
Love them! So bright and cheery!
Oh my goodness! Those are the happiest socks ever!
They're hippie happy socks! How fun!
Very cool socks! And burn-your-eyes bright, my favorite type of colorway!
What a fabulous pairing of pattern and yarn - really perfect!
I love those. I really need to finish my current pair so I can sue some of this giant stash of sock yarn to make circle socks. They are happy foot holders, they are.
I'd love the recipe for those muffins and I'm almost afraid to see those socks in broad daylight--especially on Mr. Natural.....;)
Fabulous!! Your sister will love them!
Very pretty! :-)
No one could be sad wearing those socks! I love them.
wow--those are gorgeous. How come we never really get sick of socks?
So pretty! The colors just make me smile.
Absolutely gorgeous socks!
What an awesome pair! Echoing the comments that the pattern & colorway go so well together.
Love 'em! Great pattern to take advantage of the yarn!
