WIP: Red Scarf Project scarf

Right now, this is the only thing I have on the needles. It's a scarf for the Red Scarf Project, and I'm hoping that it'll be done by tonight. It's a simple lace pattern, Midwest Moonlight from Scarf Style. I'm using Caron Simply Soft, which is very soft and has such a pretty sheen for a cheap yarn. I think Simply Soft is my new cheap yarn love!

Very pretty! I like Caron Simply Soft for kids' stuff, too.

Simply soft is great! Red Heart (gasp!) makes a "soft" yarn that I like too!

That scarf looks great!

Another Simply Soft devotee here too! That scarf is looking good. I'm impressed how nicely the lacy stuff is showing up with the SS.

That is gorgeous!!!! Nice job! And hey, nothing wrong with Simply soft, cause it is simply soft, and will last and not shrink or felt! :)

I also like Caron simply soft, well except for that whole acrylic thing, but I try not to hold it against the yarn. Sins of the father and all!

I have 3 skeins for a flag sweater for DS....now just to knit it.

Yup, another SS convert here too. It's my acrylic guilty pleasure since I am pretty much a natural fibers kinda gal.

I can't believe how the lace looks using the SS, either. Is that the autumn red? Love that color.

That6's really cool, it's like an optical illusion.

I like how the little blocks are going up and down (um, yeah... I'm easy to please...)

Very pretty. I love Simply Soft, and I love that AC Moore and Michael's seem to be carrying more colors! Anyway, thanks for the comment that you probably left months ago. I'm going to be better about checking these things; really. :-)
